TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TRAINING/SEMINAR AND CONSULTANCY SERVICES

Responsibilities of GBSFils:

  1. Organize the program for the participants, select venue and prepare the physical requirements such as learning materials, microphone, overhead and power-point projectors with screen with laptop computer, LCD, flip chart and white-board with pens and eraser, etc.
  2. Market and promote the event/program/seminar/workshop for the Consultant/Resource Speaker. All Logistics; marketing/promotions/operations shall be shouldered by GBSFils.
  3. Arrange for transportation of the Consultant/Resource Speaker (will re-confirm transportation arrangement at least a day before the start of the program) and the accommodation (for out of town contracts) covering (1) one round trip airfare ticket, hotel and food for the resource speaker until the duration of each of the program implemented.

 

*GBSFils Mode of Payment for Trainer/Resource speaker/Venue

The quoted price/agreed price will be paid two ways, first, half of payment after signing of contract with GBSFils invitation as speaker/trainer of seminar then at the end after training program to the resource speaker /consultant in cash/check or to resource speaker’s/consultant’s company.

For the Venue a 50% down payment in advance upon signing of contract and the remaining balance be paid after end of training/seminar.

Responsibilities of Trainer/Consultant:

  1. Design, organize and coordinate the program to fit the requirements of GBSFils.
  2. Trainer/speakers will prepare hand-out materials for reproduction to GBSFils (if necessary).
  3. Implement the program, making sure that outputs can be utilized for further quality improvement in Training/Seminar. Consultancy services are provided on a retainers' fee basis when services required a long-term (3 months or more) basis.
  4. When desired, a follow-through program can be designed on other areas specifically useful in assuring continuous quality improvement in the company. A long-term relationship allows for proper program alignment.

Registration Details and Confirmation

Please call to register, or you may download our registration form. Kindly fill-out, and send to us through fax (032)236-9417 or email info.gbsphils@gmail.com. You will receive a confirmation within 48 hours.

You will receive a Seminar and Hotel/Venue Information Letter VIA EMAIL /FAX before the scheduled dates of your seminar. If you have not received it by three-five days before the scheduled dates of your Seminar, please contact the office at 512-2824 or email us here.

 

NO-REFUND/POSTPONEMENT SEMINAR/NON APPEARANCE POLICY

Once paid, registration/seminar fee(s) paid by registrant(s) are non-refundable All Sales are Final after that date.. If a registrant desires to reschedule his or her attendance at a Seminar or event, a registration is transferable to another Seminar (with the same or equal value) or event hosted by GBSFils so long as registrant provides us with at least written or electronic (emailed) notice of the desire to transfer the registration. There will be a 50% deduction from registrants who opt to withdraw from the rescheduled seminar (since seminar fee is already subject for allocation on paying the speaker, venue, airfare etc).

In the event GBSFils elects not to reschedule the cancelled Seminar or event, registrant will be offered a refund. If this occurs, our responsibility is limited to a refund of any registration/seminar fee(s) already paid. Please allow sixty to ninety (60-90) days for us to process any refunds or credit changes. This applies also to registrants that withdraws from training.

GBSFils is not responsible for airline tickets, hotels costs, other tickets or payments, or any similar fee penalties or related or unrelated losses, costs and/or expenses registrant may incur or have incurred as a result of postponed seminar.

Non-appearance or failure to attend the seminar WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE will result to forfeiture of full amount paid.

 

MODE OF PAYMENT

  • Deposit payment to BPI account # 3615-0816-89, Account Name: GBSFils Business Solutions, Cebu Lahug Branch. Then kindly fax deposit slip (indicate name of participant and seminar title) to confirm reservation.
  • On-site payment (CASH only)
  • Company checks are accepted, provided that they are received at least five (5) banking days before the event.

 

Schedule and venue are subject to change without prior notice. Please call to confirm. GBSFils reserves the right to change any and all instructors for each Seminar or Event without notice.

Substitutions
If a registrant will be ineligible to attend a program, he/she may send a substitute from the same facility to take his/her place at no additional charge. If you know in advance who the replacement will be, please notify us in writing so that we can make the necessary change ahead of time. If not, walk-in substitutions are also accepted.

Canceled Programs due to Force Majeure Event
GBSFils reserves the right to cancel programs due to low enrollment or for other extenuating circumstances ("Force Majeure Event") Under normal conditions, if a program is canceled, registrants will be notified in advance by telephone, email or fax.

"Force Majeure Event"
GBSFils will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control. A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (but without limitation) the following:

  • strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
  • civil commotion, riot, invasion, nuclear disaster, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
  • fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
  • epidemic, pandemic or serious health emergencies or actual or potential adverse weather conditions;
  • impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
  • inability of any presenter to deliver the workshop due to illness or injury in unavoidable circumstances that arises in his working institution in which he/she cannot be replaced;
  • the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event. In practice, this will mean that we will postpone the seminar to another date.

CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
Although we do our best not to make changes to our seminars, because these are planned months in advance, circumstances may arise which make this unavoidable. We reserve the right to do this at any time. We will inform you as soon as possible of any material changes.

COMPLAINTS
If you have a complaint whilst attending our seminar please notify our representative managing the event who will endeavour to assist you and use his/her reasonable efforts to resolve the problem immediately. If you are still not satisfied, or there is any other aspect you are not happy with, If you do not give us the opportunity to resolve any problem at the event, then we may not be able to deal positively with any subsequent complaint and give us sufficient time to investigate it properly.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT
The Contract on these Terms constitutes the whole agreement between us and supersede any previous arrangement, understanding or agreement between us, relating to the subject matter of any Contract. We each acknowledge that, in entering into a Contract, (and the documents referred to in it), neither of us relies on any statement, representation, assurance or warranty of any person (whether a party to that Contract or not) other than as expressly set out in these Terms. Each of us agrees that the only rights and remedies available to us arising out of or in connection with such a representation shall be for breach of contract as provided in these Terms. However nothing said in this paragraph above shall limit or exclude any liability for fraud.

RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES
A person or organization which is not a party to these Terms or to any Contract shall not have any rights under or in connection with them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties).

OUR RIGHT TO VARY THESE TERMS
GBSFils have the right to revise and amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods and changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.

You will be subject to the policies and Terms in force at the time that you make any booking, unless any change to those policies or these Terms is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these Terms before we confirm your booking (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the Terms unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days before your workshop begins).

LAW AND JURISDICTION
Contracts for any booking and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by Philippine law. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with such Contracts or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Republic of the Philippines.
